There are several dll files installed as well, but I didn't capture the names. Should I clear all content in my HD partition first and start over with installation again?

Phhlp.fnt re-install a copy of the above file. Then I install the driver downloaded from Samsung website and I find the system startup turn slowly. Or I will never install the Camera driver because it can work without extra driver. I suspected my floppy disk has problem. If you can, try temporarily disabling the startup entries that the driver package created. XX, that's what I have. I formatted the partion again and lost the log file.
I boot the PC and insert the 1st installation disk for the second installation described below.

If I use the windows uninstall,I can uninstall it but still have the slowly startup.

I have another notebook computer running windows ME. However, after I setup program completed reading the 6th disk, strange non-English characters appeared I guess because I run XP Home setup for traditional Chinese version. But anyway I use expand command to overwrite this file with hal. This time, abnormal thing also happened after I inserted the 6th setup disk. And this time,I integrated almost all phhlp.ctn hotfix from SP3 to today. If this is a new installation, ask your hardware phhop.cnt software manufacturer for any windows updates you might need.
